ACR: The Street View Test

|

Google Street View has bring the driving license test to a whole new level.

Do you remember when you got your first drivers license? Most of the tests are involving boring, computerised theory work. You’d have to answer multiple choice questions for staged graphical and video scenarios, tap the button perhaps if you thought there was a reason to be alert, slow down, or stop.

That’s how it plays out in Australia, but it seems that Romania has taken the driving test business more seriously with a seemingly real-world test scenario’s with an entire educational program on Google Street View. The test utilises Google Street View, complete with a feedback loop that lets people add/flag new obstacles that are then automatically placed back into the next round of tests. Very cool indeed.
