Beck’s Edison Bottle: A “Singing” Beer Bottle

Creativity has no limit. Like our two previous post (Heineken’s “Glowing Bottle” and Coca Cola “Remix Bottle”) on how a bottle can be a good promotional media, this post also talks about more creative way of using a “mere” bottle. Beck’s New Zealand, a beer brewery company, made the first playable beer bottle in the world. By using Thomas Alva Edison’s cylindrical phonograph, this bottle can play music, acts as the substitute for the original cylindrical tube. An Auckland band named Ghost Wave has the first opportunity to record their single in this bottle. It seems that this bottle has succeeded in fusing the old technology (phonograph) with the new one (glass- recording). Take a look at this video:
