Day after day, more people keep flocking social media. Nowadays, social networking channels are invariably searching for many ways to take the opportunity from the popularity and increase their earnings.

The ads will be appeared on both Tumblr’s native iOS and Android app. The first ads came from gaming companies Gree, Big Fish and TwoDots. For brands and companies that interested to try this new ad service, the ads are sold on a cost-per-install (CPI) basis. It means that companies are only charged for completed installs.

At first, the ads are only viewable on users’ mobile devices. However, if the ad is liked or shared by a user, it can then be viewed by another Tumblr user, even those on desktops.
