Website design is always changing and evolving over the years.
There is a continuation of some positive trends in 2014, such as larger photography and better typography. Some of the trends in 2014 has hinted at some of the future trends to come in 2015. Pure flat design became a little more practical with more of a change to semi-flat elements, while Google ran with semi-flat and branded is as their own Material design.
