Latest study has enlightened consumers’ preferences when it comes to using their social media credentials to authenticate their identity across the website.
The Landscape of Customer Identity study for Q3 2015 below shows that Facebook is still dominating the social login wars. The social network actually saw its market share decline by 2 percent for the first time since Q3 2013.
Country-specific data found that Facebook actually lost momentum in North America in Q3 2015, as its social login share dropped by 3 percent compared to the previous quarter. In Central and South America, however, Facebook received 81 percent of the market share, while Google has just 14 percent of the market share and Twitter ha just 4 percent.
