Recently, social media has gained a huge popularity, especially among teenagers. There are only 10 percent of teenagers who have not used social media. The popularity of Instagram among teenagers has increased 5 percent while Facebook is facing a 9 percent decrease in 2013. 61% teens said Tumblr is their favourite social networking site.
It’s clear that teens have always been a large part of social media. Networks like Instagram and Snapchat are growing quickly in popularity among the teen population especially amongst 13 to 18 year olds, signaling a shift in teens being are more keen on photo sharing media.
