The latest Samsung products, including the new Galaxy Note 4, Edge, Gear S and Gear VR, is scheduled to be available in Australia in late October.

The official announcement and pricing follows reports that the Korean launch date may be pushed up to September after the success of the iPhone 6 launch. Galaxy Note 4 is set to be available in Australia from October 29, with a pre-sale from October 15, and you can grab one for AU$ 949 outright.

This is what phablet fans have been waiting for. The Galaxy Note 4, with its massive 5.7-inch screen, stylus pen, split-screen applications and fast-charging battery definitely offers something different to Apple’s larger player, the iPhone 6 Plus. The device also lets you scan your fingerprint to unlock your phone.

The Galaxy Note Edge is a new entrant to the Samsung range. With Australia just one of a few countries in the world to get the Edge. Its main feature is a curved, you guessed it, edge, which allows alerts to be displayed while not interrupting whatever extremely important sporting match you are watching. The only phone with seven sides provides quick access to apps and the functionality you need on the go. On November 5, you can get the Galaxy Note Edge for AU$ 1,249.

Furthermore, if you are ready for the move into wearable and can’t wait for February, the new Samsung Gear S will be available in Australia in November for AU$ 499. With the obsession with health and fitness continues to grow, it is no wonder Samsung is focusing on rolling out tech here which compliments the Australians’ lifestyle. The 2-inch screen on the Samsung Gear S lets you access all the high-priority features from your smart phone such as text messages, emails, calendar and music. It also has built in health applications as well as GPS, so you can stop carrying your phone in your sweaty hand as you work out.

If you often play games on your phone, you might want to get Samsung Gear VR. The device, which works with the Note 4, enables you to play games on your phone in virtual reality mode. It comes in at a reasonable AU$ 249.

To complete the launching you might want to replace your old headset with the new Samsung earphones, Gear Circle. It magnetically locks around your neck and gives you a vibrating shock when someone calls. It will be available in Australia at a price of AU$ 179.
